The Work In Progress (WIP) AmeriCorps Program is a partnership between five organizations: Rise, Inc., Opportunity Partners, AccessAbility, Lifetrack Resources, and Kaposia, inc. Rise, Inc. is the legal host of the program. These organizations serve people with disabilities, refugees, and people who are unemployed or underemployed. The focus of the WIP AmeriCorps Program is community integration and job placement. Members will help individuals throughout the Twin Cities Metro area, Chisago County and the St. Cloud area reach their career goals and/or become integrated into their communities depending on their focus area.

Job Developer Assistant - 1 part-time position
Develop jobs that meet the desired employment outcomes of job seekers by marketing company services and job seekers to current and potential customers, continuously prospecting and analyzing the business community and job market, and promoting the services of Kaposia, inc. at job fairs, civic and community events and trade associations. Provide individualized support and training to program participants with disabilities. Preferred qualifications valid driver's license and access to reliable form of transportation.

Community Support Aide - 1 full-time position
Work with team members and consumers in planning and scheduling in-center and community leisure/recreational activities for our consumers who are enjoying the retirement aspect of their lives. Implement planned activities/outings while assisting and supervising consumers participating in activities. Preferred qualifications: valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation.

Job Coach and Retention Assistant - 1 full-time position
Assist program participants with disabilities in obtaining, maintaining and advancing in employment by providing initial training and support services. Work cooperatively with support team in the job development process and serve as a resource to school personnel, families, individuals with disabilities, and the business community. Preferred qualifications: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, access to reliable form of transportation, Spanish language skills.
